What Stoic practices work best for you?

I have been working on attention (prosoche) for some time. I have realised that as rational beings we are also embedded in our life world. Is it enough merely to be attentive? isn’t the question – attentive to what? There is an intentionality to our awareness… that is when we have attention it is not a general thing (attention for attentions sake), it is directed towards things.

So, when i am attentive i am interested in the way i am towards the objects of attention. Is this thing good or bad… am i reaching towards it or moving away from it? If so, what beliefs about the thing are in play? This works well for me as a way of examining impressions.
